A televisão dominou a lista de indicados para o MTV Movie & TV Awards 2021, que retorna em maio após um hiato de um ano devido, pelo menos em parte, à pandemia do COVID-19. Mas com o tipo de filmes que agradam ao público e prontos para a pipoca que a premiação da MTV normalmente celebra, em grande parte foi adiado devido à pandemia, a TV ocupou o primeiro lugar este ano.
Liderando a lista de indicados deste ano, anunciada na segunda-feira: a série da Marvel no Disney Plus “WandaVision” , que ganhou cinco indicações – incluindo melhor série, melhor desempenho em uma série (Elizabeth Olsen), melhor herói (Teyonah Parris), melhor vilão (Kathryn Hahn ) e melhor luta (Wanda x Agatha).
Recebendo quatro indicações temos “Emily In Paris” da Netflix (que é produzido pela MTV Studios) e “The Boys”, do Amazon Prime Video. “Bridgerton” da Netflix, “The Mandalorian” da Disney Plus e o filme mais conhecido do ano, “Borat 2” receberam duas indicações.
O “MTV Movie & TV Awards 2021” irá ao ar ao vivo no domingo, 16 de maio.
