Ozark e The Crown lideram os nomeados para o 26º Critics Choice Awards anual nas categorias de TV.
Os programas – cada um dos quais recebeu seis nomeações – ajudam a dar à Netflix a liderança entre serviços de streaming / emissoras em geral, com um total de 26, seguido por HBO / HBO Max com 24.
Outras séries com várias nomeações incluem Lovecraft Country da HBO , Mrs. America e What We Do in the Shadows do FX e Schitt’s Creek do Pop (o favorito do Emmy do ano passado), cada um dos quais ganhou cinco nomeações. Better Call Saul, da AMC, e The Plot Against America, da HBO, estão ambos concorrendo a quatro prêmios.
Os vencedores serão revelados em cerimônia que vai ao ar dia 7 de março. Taye Diggs retorna como anfitrião pelo terceiro ano consecutivo. Prêmios de filmes também serão entregues durante a cerimônia; os indicados serão revelados em 8 de fevereiro. A organização informou que o evento será transmitido ao vivo, mas o formato será anunciado posteriormente, conforme as diretrizes de saúde e segurança forem levadas em consideração.
